If you put a regular throttle body in your Dodge Caliber, it will likely fail after a few months/weeks. Had that happen twice before I found out from a Youtube video that this one is the best choice between this or OEM. You probably wont have to but I reset the throttle body after installation just to be sure.After doing research this is a better replacement than the OEM. I did not need to program it after installing on a Dodge Caliber.2017 jeep patriot...Went in very easy. Took less then 15mins to remove the old and install new. No programming required. Car runs great for more then a month. Anyone could handle this repair, so easy, saved at least $600. Order the gasket with it.Was much cheaper that from a local auto parts store. Only negative was excess glue on mounting surface that had to be cleaned. Other than that, no problems.Almost $150 cheaper than Autozone/Oreilys Exact same model #. Easy to install! Look it up on YouTube, only takes about an Hr. Pep Boys wanted $800 for part & labor! Ridiculous! Delivered in 2 days.This has been in my car a year now and is still working great. I had some reservations about it since there were some negative reviews about this company but it is holding up. I don’t drive a lot, though, so it has only about 1k miles on it, but even if it breaks st 10k that is way longer than I intend to keep the car.Car ran so bad with this one ? so returned it for part # B01NBTSSL7 WOW car runs like new now , i see a lot of buyers had bad luck with the dorman ? Dorman had to update this part ?(recalled or replaced them) , the first one you see above. So far this updated one is working good just hope it works out in the long run ,Dorman told me this one is good , time will tellStill working after 6 mouths and seems the same as OEM part stopped the power reduction light from coming on, can be calibrated without a OBD tool.This parts fits perfectly on my Dodge Journey 2013 as claimed, installation was easy and the problems were resolved. Definitely recommended. I gave it a 4 stars because it was installed yesterday and working fine, no sure with time.Its a pretty basic unit, but works and it solved the hesitation issue my wife's car was experiencing. Install was fairly easy however I very much recommend getting a 3/8ths gimbal ratchet from GearWrench as working in tight spaces is very difficult with a conventional ratchet.Installed on 2014 Dodge Journey CVP 2.4L.
