Very easy to install. Looks amazingNice looking plastic but in my opinion should be about half what they charge. Now to see how long in month or years they stay on.Arrived on time and in perfect condition.Bought these because my plastic was already fading in the Florida sun after one year. Just hated the look. The Carbon Fiber looks so much better! Easy to install, low cost alternative and arrived quickly.Top priority: protect the hood latches from the elements. I know that they MUST stand up to rigorous testing and be able to do the job as long as you own the vehicle. BUT, that doesn't mean that they have to always LOOK good. There is no amount of wipe on, spray on, paint on chemicals that will block the elements as well as just having another solid surface shelter.Second priority: look good. I would have preferred a solid black, to match the rest of my trim covers. But, this 'carbon fiber' finish was all that was available. With that said, these do look good.Finally: do the job. I have a small nagging doubt about any exterior trim piece that is held on with 3M tape. Especially, with any vehicle that has to stay out in the elements, like mine. No covered car port. No garage. Just the blazing hot summer Texas sun and freezing cold winters. This set came with primer, to ensure adhesion. I cleaned the hood latches with alcohol first, then wiped them down with this chemical soaked pad, that smells nothing like the typical alcohol prep pad. We'll see...The fit was fine. They pretty much seat themselves in the correct position. Peeling off all of the red plastic backing from the tiny 3M strips was a pain. I finally used a knife tip, which helped somewhat. But, it takes time. Planning your step by step procedure and the right environment are important. Do it in the shade, on a calm, low humidity day.In the end, I expect that these will protect the hood latches from the elements and look good doing it, for a long time.
