The flat plate mounts well but I'd suggest removing their double-sided tape and using a more secure product or they will come off in extreme wind or a car wash. The cylindrical piece that goes over the hinge part mounted to the vehicle did not line up correctly when installed and did not look good. Fortunately I had a piece from a door hinge kit that I could substitute that was acceptable. Not sure I'll stay with these though. Also, note, they take considerable time to ship from China.I do like these are they were so easy to install. The only draw back is, the are the only green I could find and they are lighter green than my other items on the Jeep.Did not give me a snug enough fit on my 2009. The two sided tape doesn’t hold even on a super clean surface. I have to add my own additional 2 sided tape to ensure they stay on.Added extra super glue 2 sided tape and they are greatDo yourself a favor and remove the stock adhesive. Go to Advanced or OReillys or Autozone and buy some 3M double sided adhesive. I wanted these to cover the hinges for my hood, and they do look good. Followed instructions to the tee..yet OEM adhesive does not securely stick..so it is highly questionable it would hold for any length of time. I removed the OEM adhesive strips and used 3M. Looks great. Great improvement just replace the stock adhesive with something betterGood product for the price. Just wish the screw area was covered or had caps to cover them. Took a while to get here but I am liking them more daily
