I normally wear 3Xl but for jackets in general, I find 4XL a better fit mainly around the chest and shoulders. This fits as expected and feels good.Awesome coat! Ripstop is durable. Hood can fit over a helmet. Super warm. Long arms fear not- this is a true “tall”. Cuffs and waistband are super comfortable but stretch and pill rather quickly- NBD. Not a bunch of ugly logos emblazoned across the jacket so you feel like a walking advertisement, which I like. Carhartt said FU to us bigger guys (I’m 6’8” 360) and I hope Wrangler Riggs takes all their market share.***3 MONTH UPDATE***Downgrading to three star. Alas twas too good to be true. Right arm seam blew after three months and waist band is completely stretched out allowing cold air to flow freely up. If you're hard on clothes, this coat might tick you off. Hope Carhartt will take me back.If you are a 4x shirt, this 4x jacket will fit with some to spare. Hope it keeps the wind out. The cuffs and hem fabric leave a little to be desired, but I think it will work for me. Not stiff and bulky, not thickly insulated , hopefully warmI like this jacket- very warm- not to bulky- very well made- not cheap by any means- I’m 6.2 and 240lbs- I usually wear big and tall 2x- that is what this is but it’s a fuzz tight in the arms- although the sleeves are plenty long enough. It might loosen up a bit-we’ll see!But this jacket for my husband. Looks great feels good. Good quality. Would definitely recommend.This jacket is significantly warmer than I expected. It’s keeping me almost too warm (in the torso area at least) in 20 degree weather with 30-40 mph winds. Love it! I haven’t been able to test it in wet weather yet, so I’m unable to comment upon that. It’s made out of very rugged material that I think should hold up to any environment I can imagine. If there was anything to complain about, I just wish there were a couple of more pockets.Very comfortable. Sleeves are nice and long. Jacket could be a little longer. Hood is a little bigThis jacket is perfect for the rugged guy or the guy who just wants to be warm and look sharp. Well made with a metal zipper for durability.
